Im getting my ls/vtec swap done on friday and was wondering what was some of the common parts or things poeple tend to forget to bring?
I know i need to bring oil, antifreeze, and oil filter
What else would i need?
Also what are some common parts people forget to get for there motor when there doing a swap?

oil, oil filter, transmission fluid, plugs, wires, antifreeze etc, really just a little small stuff when your almost done you end up having to go to like pep boys or autozone to get some oil and stuff.

Cool i have that stuff already is ther anything else?
Also how many gallons of antifreeze do I need for my 98 civic with the ls/vtec?

Get some Grease for your CV Joints. Since the motor and tranny are already out, its always a good idea to change this stuff anyway. I would get new Transaxel seals too. Get some wires and wire connectors. Im sure there are going to be some things your going to need to change once you get the motor out. It always happens to me

New radiator hoses. You'll find that its quite a pain the *** making your stock hoses fit. For you EG guys, just go get them for the del sol VTEC model.

believe it or not, i know people that forget to bring the ecu, only because its not attached to the motor.

Anti-seize for plugs and other major bolts ..... Hose clamp-off set, small set of prybars, pickle fork(s), Castlenuts with Cotter Pins in case you "mushroom" one out by mistake ...... Uhmmmmm......

Advanced Timing Gun, PB-Blaster, Latex Gloves (in case you hate re-washing hands ), Hose Clamps, Roll Pin Punch w/ alignment tool for lining up Bolts.

I'm sure ther's more I can't remember ..... but you get the idea, usually people forget the smallest tools, don't ask me why .....

also i forgot the clutch fork and throw out bearing (tranny and motor werent together)

i always like to change the fuel filter also, i figure you mind as well, and yes you can use 99-00 si radiator hoses, and if i was you , i would also change the radiator itself, just another peave that i always take car of when doing a swap, other then that, they pretty much summed it up, good luck!
