Well for 2500 the only engine you can put in there is a b16a... go for the JDM 2nd gen though... 170hp, 116 torque.

Get the B18b (LS). It has more torque and you can run NOS or a turbo since the compression is in the 9's.

$2500 dollars...you plan to use it just for engine or for complete swap and r u paying for labor cause if you are,,only thing your gonna get is a replacement D16Y8........anyway..if you on a limited budget..forget the swap...buy a greddy turbo kit..seen them selling for around $1500...and if your paying for labor you got 1G left over for it..if your not...you got an intercooler

Go b16a 2nd gen. They run around 2500 for the changeover
If you plan on doing it yourself....the cheapest I could find to have someone install was 3500 for the B16A2 and 4900 for the B18C1.
