Would a b16a be a good engine to put in a 1995 civic ex coupe?
Would a b16a be a good engine to put in a 1995 civic ex coupe? I am finding those engines for sale for a complete swap around 1,200$, is that a good deal. Also about what times would it run in the 1/4 mile and 0-60 times thanks!

thats probably a first gen b16a swap. the second gen should run around 2300-2500. and yeah i think it would be a ggod swap.

DO NOT BUY A FIRST GEN B16
do not go the cheap route

you need to change countless things on the motor to make it work in a 92+ car.

You don't really have to change countless things. It
just ends up costing about the same amount of $$$.

It would be alot faster than an EX Coupe, with alot of room for potential.
The more you lighten the car,the quicker it will be.
For Example,My friend had a GSR Swap in a 92 SI hatch and I can beat him with my 2000 SI Motor(B16A2) in my 92 VX Hatch.
The Vx weighs 2110 without me in it,his weighs 2380 without him in it,I believe an Ex weighs about 24something.
I ran a 14.7 in my car with the B16 when it was stock.Given the weight of your vehicle I would say you are good for 15.0-15.3.
