Default Vtec Bypass Trouble

Hello. I have a JDM B16A that I am trying to get running correctly on a P2T-A11. My engine has a oil pressure switch but when connected to the ecu it throws a P1259 and goes into limp mode. I have cleaned the solenoid, replaced its gaskets, replaced engine oil and verified oil level, grounded the oil pressure wire, reinstalled oil wire and ran a jumper between the solenoid wire and the pressure switch, all don't fix my issue. Is it possible to do the bypass with a OBD2B ecu or is it for OBD1 only? Any ideas?
Thanks

P2t is the b16a2/b16a3 ecu, it will run a b16a as well - s long as you have the VTP hooked up, and OBD2 oil pump with the crank position sensor, (or the sensor bypass performed)

The vtec switch issue could be simply indicating a bad oil pressure switch, or a short in the wiring.
