VSS fuse keeps blowing iin 99dx w/b18c
Fuse kepts popin everything i start the car. Car is a 99 dx with b18c1. I did have to tap some wires but didnt touch the VSS. *Vehicle Speed Sensor. Anyone have any idea why this is happening. BTW made a post earlier speedometer isnt working either is vtec. VSS my problem or ...? TIA>>>>>>

Which wires did you tap into? I'm betting that YEL/BLU from the VSS which connects to the wiring for the EGR valve, PGMFI main relay, alternator, etc. is grounding out somewhere. Time to check all those splices.....

yes the VSS is whats causing your spedo and vtec to stop working
why did you tap into one of the wires?
remove whatever you "tapped" into it and try another wire or a diffrent spot.
its shorting out because its eithre
1) wired wrong
2) has a bad connection
