valve on top of b16 TB?
i just got my engine in today from hmotorsonline. b16a. it has a vaccum type of valve attatched to the top of the throttle body, that has a lever that goes to the throttle return spring. the vaccum hose goes to the intake arm it is broken does any one no what this is called... and if it would be considered a sensor to be replaced by hmotorsonline's garuntee... or if not a part number in which i could order a new one... other than that the engine it mint i couldnt believe how clean it is ... whatever they use to clean they're engines i want some, definitely seems low mileage all the bolts and little brackets stil have the gold cadnium plating on them... very pleased with the engine took 4 days to get here from cali to RI, actually three but wasnt here yesterday when they tried to deliver itcrossing my fingers hoping it runs as good as it looks

It's called a dashpot. It's not totally necessary. Some people leave them on, I've never used one on my motor.
