Turbo H22/H23 How much WHP have you seen on the dyno?
I have a SFWD class civic with H power. I am making over 600whp very reliably, actually if this weekends final tune it will be waaay over 700whp on gas. I know JO JO is running H power at the moment. How much whpower was Steph Pap doing in his H powered Civic when he was still running gas before he went V6?
The B motors seem to be making the same amount of whp as the H even with more displacement. Why is this?
Thanks

because most b series are stroked into a 2L by that point, but what is your real question there has been lots of people with b seres h series motors making over 700hp in street cars
Is the main quesion why can a b series acheive the same hp as a h series turbo?

who cares that the B series makes as much HP. When its torque that the H series absolutely decimates! Of course I run street cars. Just my .02 cents.

because u guys see someone's B making as much as an H, u automatically think that the H can not make more power..
every person out there with an H is not trying to make so much power that the B can not keep up. they are tuning it to what they like. if they want more power, they could re-tune im sure...

Mr. Papadakis was making in the 600 HP region. Too many people are under this misconception that HP get you down the track. Prime example, Chris Rado. Boasting over "1000" HP with his Celica, yet never once coming close to Steph's times. Most B series motors are run under the same misconception, "make lots of power." I really feel the downside to owning an H series is not having the performance backing as the B series. Traction is the primary key to racing. No matter what kind of power you make, it needs to get to the track.
