i followed the honda service manual word for word but i still cant seem to get the damn CEL to flash. it just stays lit up. I used a paper clip as suggested by many people, and look, i even have pics!!!

am i doin something wrong? anyone have any suggestions? the setup is an ls/vtec (b18a1 block, b18c1 head) in a 92 hatch using a chipped p08 ecu. Thanks in advance....

Sounds like you have a wiring problem.. IAT is usally somewhere on the intake manny make sure the sensor is conected. *white plug*

ECT I cant remember off hand..

Usually when the CEL stays on constant that means that ECU is dead..

i had to extend the wires for the IAT because it now sits on the top of my intake manifold, not the on the back, like it did on the orig. VX manifold, but i soldered it, and double checked and they seem fine. But yeah, the CEL stays on the whole time the car is on....

lol I know this may seem stupid but did you solder the right two wires together.. One is red/white the other green/white. And the sensors plug is white as well..

And for the po8 ECU does the car only rev to 3k when its in?!

nah, doesnt seem stupid, but yeah im sure i soldered the right 2 wires, i went back and checked. The sensor looks fine and is plugged in to the right spot. would pics help? and yea, the car bogs after 3k rpm with the p08. Even if i just rev it in neutral.
