Default CEL code retrieving problem

I just got done with my turbo install last night and when I started it up, I got a CEL. So I tried to jump the one plug that will show me the CEL codes and when I put the car in the 'on' position, no CEL codes blink. Any ideas of what I could be doing wrong. Thanks,

Pfieff

It's called CEL 0 aka DEAD CEL. Major ECU/ECU program crash/ECU program incompatability. Can't rev over 4K, eh?

If I'm wrong, try to jump the ECU while the engine is running.

Just in case you should try to jump the wires @ the ECU instead of the possibly (long shot) damaged CEL plug. Pins D4 to D22.
