Default Transplant Q?

Yeah I have a 95 CX HB with a B18C (JDM ITR) that was wrecked and i just bought a 94 CX HB with a SOHC VTEC y8. I was planning on doing a transplant of motors from the old motor to the new hatch. The old HB has everything for the swap and has all the nooks and crannies . So i was wondering if it would be just plug and play, drop and bolt. The new car is already wired for VTEC cause it has the SOHC y8 in it. So if i use the old harness and ECU it should be plug and play right? And also i need to replace my clutch while im at it so i was wondering if anyone had the TQ setting for the transmission bolts. Thanks for the help

It should be pretty much a plug and play. Depending upon what ECU you have you may need to run a wire for a knock sensor. This would indeed be a perfect opportunity to change the clutch, pick up a Helms manual for all the nitty gritty details.

Yeah i was thinking the same weather i would have to wire the D3 for the knock sensor and the A17 for IAB. Im using a P28 in the old hatch and a P28 in my new one so i dont think i will need to.

You'll need a jumper harness if you want to run the ITR ECU. Also, You'll need to wire the second O2 sensor. If the new car has the Y8 in it already it should be wired for the knock. And the ITR motor doesn't have IAB's.

Both ECU's are P28's
Old HB With ITR = P28
New HB With SOHC y8 = P28
Basically it should all just be plug and play if im correct.

Does your JDM itr motor have a usdm vtec solenoid assembly on it?
(The usdm assembly has 2 plugs on it, the jdm assembly only has one.)
