Default Transmission POS??

So I got a 1991 LS tranny for my GSR motor and so I start my car up and leave it in neutruel and when I try to let out the clutch to let it just idle, it trys to move and dies acting like its in gear when its impossible, at least I think. any idea guys as to what could cause this??

Could be a synchro sleeve stuck in gear or bent shift fork (causing the prior).

Well the tranny feels good going in from 1st -5th, and the clutch cable tension is perfect, reverse won't go in at all as far as I'm concerned. me and some buddies tried moving it and rocking it to see if maybe we could find nuetruel but something is fucked up cause without the clutch in, it won't move at all. I'm thinking of pulling it tomorrow and seeing if I can figure out what the cause is and if its fixable, otherwise I'm looking for a new tranny. I'll keep you you guys informed.

ps: I should of never got my tranny off of EBAY!
