Tranny Swap Between D Series Help
Does anyone kno how hard or if you even can and if its worth puttin a 2005 D17 civic Transmission on a 92 D16Z6 Engine i kno it sounds weird but the EX ratio in 05 are quicker, the tranny is stronger and way smoother if anyone has any info i could use all the help i can get thanks

I don't know if it will physically bolt up. But i do know it uses a cable shifter (like a prelude) as opposed to the '92 - '00 d series trannies that use 2 metal bars for a linkage. That alone should make it not worth doing.
