Default Tranny problems: hard to shift, what's wrong?

First off, I've got a '93 CX with a B16A3.

The problem just started yesterday. Didn't seem gradual, just all of the sudden. When driving the car it's very difficult to shift gears, almost like the clutch isn't fully disengaging. But I don't think the clutch is the problem, it appears to be working exactly as it should. What else could be wrong?

Thanks

slave cylinder possibly?

I was driving one day and suddenly my whole clutch system went kinda 'limp' and then everything got really hard to get into/out of etc..

Turned out to be the slave cylinder...$25 part from Napa.

HTH.

Definately check the slave cylinder for leaks... Make sure your clutch is disengaging all the way... If not maybe you're fork are bent or possibly the actuator....

I had the same problem you had a while ago, it came to be that the two front torque mounts we shot completely. I replaced them with the ES motor mount inserts. A year later everything is still working great. Check that out to see if its the problem because if the engine is moving to much when u try to shift, it would make putting it in gear more difficult than normal. Good luck
