Timiong Belt Replacement (Help)...H22
OK, the motor is out of the car, but how do you get the tension from the timing belt off. I got the balancer shaft belt tensioner loose and that belt off...What i did with the timing belt was slide the belt off by taking out the adjuster, but i know putting the belt on is going to be a bitch. HELP
Also does anyone know if the half shaft for the 95 accord is the same size or same part as the half shaft for the 90-93 Accord? I already have the 95 half shaft, and don't want to spend the 150 for the shaft for the 90-93...(Going with the 89 teg pass. and 90-93 teg driver axle setup)
Lastly. The cam/crank seal should be the only seals I should replace right?

As for the timing belt, there is a part you can buy from honda that allows you to get it working. Basically you remove the screw from the underside of the automatic tensioner, there is an adjusting screw inside there and you turn it so that you can push the tensioner inwards. After that, you take the part that you get from honda, slide it over it to hold it down. Put your timing belt back on the car, then bold on the auto tensioner. Remove the "clamp" that you got from honda and the auto tensioner should auto-tension itself.
Oh, don't forget to put the little screw back on the underside of the auto tensioner before you put it on the car.
Edit, you need part #25 from that drawing.

Re: Timiong Belt Replacement (92hybridAccord)
I have my whole story posted on like the 15th page of the H22/Civic FAQ at the top of this forum.
I think I spent around three hours and ended up making my own tool to get it working correctly. It was a bitch to say the least.
