1995 B18C1 into '93 Civic CX.

Will my Civic throttle cable work (don't care if it's not routed like stock) or do I need the GSR throttle cable?

Any mods to make the stock Civic cable work?

Anyone selling a GSR cable that can have it here by Friday, 9/20? If I need one?

I have a 99 B18C1 in my 92 VX and I kept the stock throttle cable and it works fine. All you need to do is take it off the clip at the driver's side shock tower and route it directly to the left when it comes out of the firewall instead.

 

your better off replacing it with a Gsr cable the bracket possition is different on the Gsr, I've gone through 2 cables already because they were different

 

i have a 95cx with 95b18c1, stock throttle cable is rerouted and works great. i also have a gsr cable if you want it.

I'll just use the stock cable until I can go pick up the GSR cable in a few weeks. The car is about 3 hours away from me that I got my engine from...
