I put a j-spec GSR in my 98 civic sedan using a 98 civic throttle cable with the jdm gsr throttle cable bracket (all on the gsr manifold / throttle body). the cable has too much slack so we extended the bracket and it covered the gap but i cant accelerate fast and the cable gets stuck. tried a gsr throttle cable also with no luck. all in all neither throttle cable fits correctly. does anyone know which is the correct cable and/or bracket to use so i can better my situation? thanks

99 Civic Si cable should work fine.

 

99 si cable with the throttle cable bracket on the car? or do i have to switch it with the usdm one perhaps?
