Default Stripped out head stud!!!

One of the studs stripped out the hole in my block completely. I was wondering if anyone has every had this problem and if it is recommended or possible to re-tap the hole and use a larger head stud. I don't know if thicker studs are available, and if they are do you guys think it will still fit through the head?

Head stud....as in the stud that bolts the head to the block or stud as in the bolt that bolts the header to the motor? The header bolt is an easy fix...but the other is a grip. Let me know which one it is.

It's the stud that connects the head to the block

You will have to use a Heli-coil to repair it. Easy fix.

Becareful, I did this once before, I took the block to a shop to be repaired and they literally jacked it all up, short story is I had to buy a new block. Part was my fault as I did not know the reputation of the shop, I had just moved to the area, short story for that, never let a redneck work on your Honda.
