Stripped head studs (block)
Ok so i messed up putting my head back on and the bolts would never get tight. I took them out and you can seriously thread off a piece of my block from the head stud.
I knew i needed a new block, but instead i tried putting them on again (this time i lubed them, i know hella dumb for not doing it in the first place) and they are all tight. I only stripped three. How bad would it be to run my motor now?

Re: Stripped head studs (block)
so you're saying all the bolts seem to be in fine now?
if so, run it and see how your head gasket holds up. if it blows, you're ****ed.
oh and, you DID properly torque the bolts all in the correct order, right?
oh and btw you're not suppose to reuse OEM head studs.
