Default Stripped out block/head stud thread..

Well my dumbass stripped out one of my head stud blockthreads. Does anyone know of any fixes out there that i could use to fix my problem. Maybe like a M12x1.5 insert or something. Im sure someone has done this before and fixed it.

not a fix for your problem, more of a prevention: i replaced all the "bolts" with studs for the intake and exhaust manifold.

hmm I'm not sure if I would trust a threaded insert on a head stud hole, seeing as you have to drill and tap the hole out larger to get the insert in there.

But then again I'm not sure how else it would be repaired, short of replacing the entire block.

Time-sert is the way to go for this. Helicoil would be used for less severe duty such as an exhaust manifold bolt or accessory bolt.

timesert is the way to go...I bought the kit, have used it on a few turbo blocks making 400+ with no issues...and its a very easy repair using the timesert, as opposed to trying to helicoil it
