STR throttle body return spring broke!!

Default STR throttle body return spring broke!!

Well im driving my h22 hatch down the road . Everything is good its a cool night so im like ill get on it a little..topping out 2nd then shift.. BAM BAM.. Smack rev limiter... 10 TIMES.. So im like what the **** . Take foot off gas nothing ...So i turn the key off. Coast into a lot and look to see whats going on. Well the throttle return spring on the rotor broke! Anyone had this happen? Anything i can do to fix or replace it?

str sucks. just buy something else. check out the last page at the bottom of my sig. id never buy anything str again!

damn sorry to hear about that. I would get another TB but all the others look as if the are built JUST like mine..

i have an rpm service...went through three motors and still working strong.

kinda happened to me once.. but it was the nut that came off.. and then the spring shot off...

i had another tb laying around, so i just parted that one out.

did you have another str TB or did you use a stock spring?
