Default starting problems

car: 92 civic cx
engine: 92 b17

well, the swap was in for liek 3 weeks, everything went fine...today, the car doesnt turn over, we checked the starter, its fine. we checked the battery, thats fine. we checked to see if it was the clutch switch(no voltage at starter w/o pressing clutch, 12.xx voltage when clutch is pressed, thats correct right?) we tried applying direct current to the starter(wire from positive to both starter plugs), still doesnt turn over, anyone have any ideas? we were able to push start it and it ran

if your starter doesnt turn then how can you say starter is fine?

obvious if you hook up the starter directly to the 12 v battery and it doesnt do ****, your starter is broke.

did you read my first post? I said I took out the starter, placed it on the ground, and connected wires fromt he battery to it and it engaged/spun, thats what they would do at say autozoen to test if its good or not...but in the car it doesnt turn.

Do you have power going to the S-termial? Do you have power going to main power to the starter?

The exact happened to me but I mistakenly disconnected a wire to the starter solenoid. Plugged it up and it was perfect.
