some problems and questions reguarding my swap. obd1 shell obd2 motor.
95 LS shell
98 GSR motor
trying to pass BAR.
-using 98 gsr engine harness
-dash harness is obd1 (vtec ready)
-got obd1 to obd2a jumper harness
-got obd2a ECU
so onto the questions..
1. only 3 of my engine harness plugged up to the shock tower harness and i have an extra plug hangin there. what plus is this? i was told its the CFK sensor plug? not sure...
-the plug has 3 wires coming out of it. [square plug, not round.]
2. secondary o2 sensor, how do i go about hooking this up? so the ecu can read it, since my shell is obd1. (secondary o2 doesn't come standard in obd1 shells) any DIY?
3. crank angle sensor, what pin do i pin to on my shock tower harness (dash side) so i can wire it to my obd2 jumper?
what do you guys think is best in my situation? should i just buy a OBD2 dash harness and swap it out and call it a day? or save myself some trouble and just wire what is needed to pass BAR?
i don't want to change-over to obd1 because everything i have is obd2 already. except those 2 problems. but over, please answer my 3 questions anyway. thanks
