Default smokes after idles for a minute

So pulling away from being stopped at a stop light I get a puff of white smoke. It's an H22a4 and compression is 200 in every cylinder. I assume valve seals are the culprit but any input before I pull the head apart would be cool. Was thinking the pcv might need a cleaning, who knows?

Sounds like valve stem seals. Remember that, when idling, manifold vacuum is high. This causes air to be sucked through any little leak. That includes valve stems, where oil is sucked in along with the air. When you hit the gas to take off, vacuum is reduced, which reduces/stops leakage. But you get a cloud of smoke as the oil that leaked in is burned off.

Right on that's what I thought. Thanks for the breakdown, now I know why.
