blue smoke, new valve stem seals, good compression, no oil on plugs.
hey.
i've got a B18C4 engine which i fixed a burnt valve on and was working fine for a month or two but was smoking first thing in the morning and at the higher rev range so i decided to change the valve stem seals.
I changed the valve stem seals and put the head back on but it's smoking even worse now. Before it wasn't smoking on acceleration unless at >6000rpm, but now it's smoking like crazy all the way up through the rev range and it still smokes in the morning too.. the smoke sort of clears up after a long run though.
Compression test shows 205 - 210 - 210 - 205. I haven't done a leak down test yet as i still need to acquire/make one.
I changed my standard inlet manifold whilst changing the headgasket to a Blox one. The PCV valve i haven't totally connected back up, it's buggered but the Honda dealer parts guy didn't know what one was.. i've left the port that usually goes to the inlet manifold open to air and there's pressure coming out from the port at idle.
I also haven't got the metal tube that goes from the top of the valve cover to the inlet duct on as it wont fit due to the new inlet manifold changing the positioning of everything.
Car runs fine but smokes like crazy.. any help appreciated.

I dont really understand what you're tryign to say with the pcv thing, but get it hooked up. If the pcv is backwards/faulty then intake vacuum will pull oil into the intake.

Like dragonfly2k3 said if your pcv system is messed up then you can suck oil through your intake and that would cause your motor to smoke like crazy. I'm also confused... pics would help

sorry yeah there aren't any hoses going from the PCV to the intake manifold as it is just now, due to using the Blox manifold i ran out of ports so i just left the PCV venting to air rather than going back into the intake manifold. There's still the little one that goes back into the block? it's still connected.
I'm going to put compressed air into the cylinders tonight and see (hear) what happens, i guess i'm expecting a lot of leakage past the rings.
