--SHIFT LINKAGE QUESTION-- GSR tranny in 92 civic.
I just got a 98 GSR tranny to go along with my CRVTEC swap thats going into a 92 civic and i have a question about the shift linkage. i know that i need the linkage out of a 94-01 integra, but i dont know if i need the complete linkage(everything from the tranny to the shifter) or just the small piece that connects to the tranny? Any help would be great. THANX

there are 2 rods, u just need the rod that goes to the tranny, which uses a pin to hold it
usually no one sells jus the one rod, prob be easier to get the whole linkage

Re: --SHIFT LINKAGE QUESTION-- GSR tranny in 92 civic. (import_fantasy)
yeah, to make things way easier you need the whole linkage assembly (2 long rods) and shifter from a 94-01 integra. It will bolt right up to your GSR tranny & 92 civic perfectly.
You can't reuse your SOHC civic shift linkage at all (unless you do some welding).
