Default S1, J1, Y1, What is the difference???!!

does anyone know which is better for drag between S1, and J1 trannys?? what are the differences? and where can i find specs of the different trannys available for a b series motor.

s1 and j1 should both be exactly the same as far as gearing. they both are good for drag. Only that it is hard to tell a usdm s1 from a jdm s1, and more than likely they will grind sooner or later. Y1 is similar to a ls tranny (ok for turbo), would be nice with 4.4 final, from its partners.
