quik question?
today i put a down payment on a ls motor swap for my 98 hatch. after puting the paying the down payment i found out that the motor is from a 95 integra ls. this would make the motor an obd1 setup. where as my current setup in my civic is a obd2. can it be made to work, if we have both ecu,s. or will obd2 injectors, alternator, and all of the other stuff have to be swapped. i know it would be alot easier if i swapped the same year engine into my car, but the down payment is allready been paid. pls reply asap. as i am very curious.
i have done a search but i am still a bit hazey on the situation. thanks guys appreciate it.

Re: quik question? (98silverhatch)
Motor and tranny and everything will work - just need to (easiest way IMO) cut the sensors from the OBD-1 harness and splice them into your Civic harness. OBD-1 and OBD-2 electronics are the same so no problems there. Also, you'll need to use the mounts and brackets from a 99 Si, and that includes the rear tranny bracket and changing the cast iron block driver side mount bracket to a 99+ Si part or to a B20 bracket (same thing) Linkage will work, and you'll want to get an OBD-2 to OBD-1 ECU jumper harness, basically converting your car to OBD-1 but it'll run good when all done up right. Axles will work. Main issue is going to be the mounts and the wiring.
