Default Quick iacv question.

Iacv, correct?

I thought wires were supposed to be green/black, and black?
Not blue/yellow, Yellow/black.

Or is that just b series vtec?
What wires would I run to the 3 wire iacv? (I know orange'll be a dead wire.)

Edit: oh, it's a b18a1 head.
It's going in the ek chassis, with the stock CX harness.

I talked to the guy I got it from, the engine harness is off a z6.

Those wires are correct

The wire colors you are thinking of are for a 3 wire IACV. The Z6 harness won't work in your EK. You'll have to use your CX harness and do the necessary 3 wire IACV conversion plus a good number of other wiring modifications.

Thanks. I'll use that.
But which wires do I run for the iacv fix? The only diagrams I can find are for the ls harness, but ls swap with z6 harness?

Normally the yellow/black would be to green/black, and black/blue to black. Orange is dead, then run the ecu pinout. So would this basically be a z6swap? I'll help myself too, and look for a z6 to ek, or mini me swap wireing.

I'm using my information from here:

You can't use either the z6 or LS harness you have to use yours. What year is your car?

Oh, I know that.
edit: the harness is so I can use all the plugs and sensors i need.
I have to re-wire in the obd1 iacv plug into my obd2a EWH.
I just don't know which wires to splice to which.
In this pic, the wires are a different color, so I was stumped.
(it's a 96 CX hatch btw)

Oh ok

Disregard orange
Blue/yellow - yellow/black
Yellow/black - Black/blue

That connector they show on the diagram is not a two wire IACV plug (the wires should be the colors you have) but the plug is the same style connector
