Wire tuck harness

Wire tuck harness
hi I bought a wireworx tucked harness for my em1. I understand that I have to tap wires into the old chassis harness but how do I tap vbu wire in if it’s supposed to be tapped into connector c.

Re: Wire tuck harness
I just put one of these into my ej1. Once you plugged the main harness onto the engine and routed it through the fire wall plug the ECU connectors into the ECU. Then plug the sub harness into the C101 plug behind your fuse box and plug the other end into the sub harness. After everything is plugged in you will be left with 7 wires to splice into the chassis harness. Just match the colors of the wires brown to brown green/yellow to green/yellow and so on

Re: Wire tuck harness
As far as the first set of 8 wires you have in the first pic look at your O.E. ECU connectors you’ll see which wires match those colors then cut them at the factory connector and splice/solder them into the supplied wireworx sub harness essentially just match the colors. As far as the second set of wires in the second pic I’m not entirely sure my harness was for an OBD1 engine/chassis so that’s the only part that differed for me

Re: Wire tuck harness
Ok that makes sense. The one I got was the basic one for an obd1 chassis and motor so the ECU Pinot is different but far easier to hook up than I thought. I also highly recommend soldering the wires or using a 0 ohm crimp connector
