Default question.....swap b16a or b18b..more details inside

I have a 92 dx hatch and am going to turbo it in about 6 months....Which is a better motor to do this with...the first gen b16a or a obd1 b18b??? I want to have a little ummph untill i get my turbo, but at the same time I am more interested in the long run. Which will be better and faster for turbo?
BTW both are the same price

Where do you get your motors, I`d like to have that lil hook-up

To answer you question. B16B would be my first choice especially for that price...

i was thinking the same thing. From what I have heard there is more potential from a ls then a b16, cause I really dont need that extra high compresion ratio

A first gen B16 would be a biznitch putting in your car, so just go with LS. Or just get whatever you find for a good price.

I would say the OBDI B18B simply because chances are it will be a 94-95 with hydro tranny so the OBD and tranny are best compatible with your chassis. The longer gearing of the LS tranny and the lower compression is also a plus.
