Default What should i do??

I just bought a skunk2 im (Thanks ShiftHard) for my B18c1 and i was wondering what ecu i should use. Oh, and i dont have any real mods, just Intake and Exhaust. I bought the manifold cause i messed up the stock manifold. While removing the stock manifold i broke the knock sensor, well just the part where the connector goes in. Well my question is, should i just get a new knock sensor and keep using the p72 with the skunk2 mani? or should i not even worry about the sensor, and just get a chipped p28??

so whatchu guys think? chipped p28 or stock p72? if chipped p28 what program i was thinkin skunk2 since i plan on getting skunk2 camshafts and valvetrain soon.

get a chipped p28 and remove the knock sensor. I don't think you'll need to change the ecu if you just replace te knock sensor. Also the new intake manifold shouldn't require any new ecu tuning.

So i dont even have to have a knock sensor in if i use the p28?

I would obtain a chipped P28. And the P28 does not have a pin-out for the knock sensor, therefore, it'll do no good with having one

The P72 will work in the mean time though.

So even if i dont have the knock sensor in place on the head, it wouldnt leak anything and will be fine?

The P28 is a good choice for a single stage manifold like the Skunk2 that you have. BUT with the stock GSR cams it's not a very good choice. The P28 has a higher VTEC point and by that time you're in between the powerband of the stock GSR VTEC and the IAB stage. I would stick with the P72 until you get some cams - ITR/CTR would be a good choice.
