Question about B16B
I have a friend who just got a B16B for his 98 Civic. I was looking at the engine and it does not have a Vtec oil pressure/ground sensor plug. Is this engine supposed to be like this? This is the 1st time I've seen a B16B in person so I'm not familiar with it.

Re: Question about B16B (ZC_CRX)
On any other Vtec, B-series engine Ive seen, the Vtec pressure is next to the Vtec celinoid. There is not even threads for this sensor to screw into.

Re: Question about B16B (ZC_CRX)
Its a jdm motor correct? Some or all jdm motors dont have the vtec switch becuase the ecu doesn't look for it.
So if your bud is using the jdm ecu I think youre ok, if he gets a chipped ecu (best way to go imo) you will have to get the switch.

Yes it JDM. Thanks for the info. His wiring is a mess and I was trying to troubleshoot some problems for him.
