your bette off just taking the whole tranny off while your doing it. its not like the tranny has a lot of stuff connected with it. i would take everything out then take the tranny off then put it whaever ur puttng it on then put it all in. just my opinion it sounds dumb to leave the tranny in there

I did the same thing, I pulled the whole engine and tranny at once. A few things to look out for is popping out the axles, they take some pressure/force, and popping out that stupid pin in the manual tranny hook up (WTF is that called, that bar thing?) I had to use an air hammer. Othder than that it is easy, but it did take me a couple days in the cold *** garage (I'm in Boston, and it was December) Just give yourself time. If it's your first one, which I think it is, give yourself a few days and the right tools.

If you are using a cherry picker, make your life easier and get one of those weight relocating bar things whatever they are called. I know for the b series, you have to go in at a pretty steep angle and having that bar makes the install a lot easier.

Buy yourself some lower steering knuckle bar joint boots too. They always tear when you use the pickle fork.

edit: damn grammer
