Default Pre-Swap distributor question, 2001 B20z diz, 96 DX harness

Tomorrow I'm doing my swap, finally.

I just have one question. The distributor wiring. My DX harness has two plugs, a 2 wire one, and I think 7 on the other. The 2001 CRV distributor has one plug with 8 wires. So where do I go from here? Am I to just match up the colors, or should I check Helms and verify the functions of each. Problem is I don't have the Helms for the DX.
Can someone maybe clarify the colors of the DX and their function so I get this right the first time? Wish me luck

Well I got the b20 in there today. I have the majority of the wiring left to be done and the axles. I ran into a roadblock though. The guy who sold me a LS intermediate shaft solde me one for an automatic i guess. The three bolt holes are the right pattern, but the angle is wrong up against the block. So I guess I need to look for one asap.

I can't get the right side axle in there. It's about 1 inch or so away from being butted up against the tranny. Anyone have any suggestions to make this easier?

I hooked up all the distributor wires except the blue one for RPM output. The b20z distributor doesn't have that wire on the distributor. What do I do with this? Will my tach get a signal from somewhere else?

And I found out that I need a new fuel line. The dx fuel line lets fuel in on the side of the thread, the ls/gsr one on the end of the thread, or any i just confused.

Luckily I have a little beater car to get me to work, while I figure this out.
