Default Pr3 ecu? what is the major improvement w/ p72 ecu?

I am getting a pr3 ecu with my 2nd gen b16 .. And I am wondering if I should have just saved the money up front and gotten a p72 from someone on parts trader or ebay?
What are the major differences and what will i be losing if by having the pr3.. OH yea please tell me that there is a obd 1 pr3?

There is an OBD-1 PR3, I am using one.

I don't see any benefits in getting a P72 ECU for a B16A, unless it was reprogammed.
