Which ecu
I am trying to trade someone my p72 obd1 ecu for a p30 from a delsol. Do you think this is a good idea? I got an offer for what the guy says is a p30 from a Civic Vti DOHC VTEC. I think he might have the pr3, and not the p30 like he says. Or, are the p30 and the pr3 about the same? Either way, I have heard that the p30 is the best for a b16a. I am about to go turbo so I want to know if I should make this swap. Please tell me what you think.

Re: Which ecu (SlowB16)
The p30 is one of the hardest ecu to get. It is different looking then the rest of the honda ecu's. It a small casing when compared to the normal honda ecu. I believe that the pr3 is the obd-0 version for the first gen b16a's. I have a p30 ecu that i ran on my b16a swap, although it is not for sale. If you are going turbo then you should really look into a standalone like the aem ems, hondata, etc. If you go this route then just keep the p72 ecu. You can run that ecu with the hondata, or sell that ecu and get the aem ems since it replaces the entire factory ecu.

Re: Which ecu (boosted hybrid)
I dont have the cash for a standalone at the moment. I will do that next year when I do a full build up. Since the pr3 is obd0 it will not plug and play with the setup I had correct? Hopefully the guy just has the p30, it would make stuff so much easier.
