Default Possible fuel delivery problem?

Ok im working on a friends LS swapped 92 hatch. I changed the intake manifold to a stock one, now when i crank the car it barley wants to start and idles decent for a min then dies. All the plugs are in the correct place. No CEL. The car starts with the help of starter fluid, without that it really doesnt want to start.

Checked for fuel at the rail and its there. But here is the weird thing, i took of the return hose and its bone dry, then unbolted the stock FPR and fuel sprayed out like crazy. What can this be? Clogged fuel rail? It was fine before, im really stumped, any help appreciated!
