pics of my swizaap, i need help asap please.
Car is a '96, the motor is a '00 si motor complete, now i used the si harness and si ecu thinking it will be plug an play, little did i research before hand as i am used to doing swaps in EGs and this is my first EK swap so now i ran into some complications. WTF do i do, do i take the harness out and run a 96-98 ex and then what ecu, will the si ecu plug in. Or can i add wires to the si harness and get it to work, i am missing one plug, the si harness has 2 white plugs that go in the ecu and the green one that EKs have which doesn't plug in the ecu. I am really lost, can somebody help me out.
Don't mind the ghetto fashion of this swap, i couldn't do it at home so i did it in the underground garage of my buddy's apartment.
Here are pics, my friend's 13 year old brother helping out with the swap

Use the engine harness from the 96 Civic, and add the wires for Vtec, and IAB. Then get an adapter harness to plug the 00 ECU into the 96 engine harness.

Re: (Jaker)
So you mean that my stock cx harness is the same as si, i looked at it, and the 02 sensors are different length, what about vtec solenoid, etc..

You can still use your stock "car harness"...remember 96-up Civics don't have "engine harnesses"(besides the injector wire harness). All you have to add are the VTEC wires from the engine components to the ECU.
and by the way...wut the f*ck are u guys doing...are u lifiting the car up to shake up some loose change or wut?!!!!

You can use a 96-98 Ex harness...but then you will have to add the wires for your second o2 sensor.
If using your stock CX harness you will have to add the VTEC and knock sensor wires. Since you aren't swapping in a b18c you dont have to worry about IAB wiring.
You can either buy an adaptor harness for you to use the 99-00 Si ecu(www.importparts.com has good prices on these ).............or you can try and find an OBD2a P30....which will be expensive.
OR you can buy an adaptor harness, and run a chipped OBD1 p28.
Either way you can't really use the 99-00 Si wireharness, unless you want to replace your entire dash harness too.

I was taking out my rear trailing arms, as you can see i have discs in the back after throwing in a complete 4 wheel disc gsr conversion with SiR brake booster and master cylinder. Made it much easier to work at the back.

looks like you guys are pretty buzy with the hatch. Dang any budweiser left? J/P. Kinda of remind me of my garage, always a case of budweiser. Remember pace yourself with the beer or else your swap might not be finish j/p.
