P73 ecu work for F20B vtec motor?
Hey i was woundering about using the P73 ecu for the F20B dohc vtec motor? i have seen a few ppl that have used it, but was woundering on how well it would run and any issues with it.

its not meant for that motor so the maps are gonna be off. It will probably start and run but I would baby it until i got a tune. Your better of getting a chipped ecu and a tune like he stated above.

well theres a civic that has a F20b in it and a p73 running it that im thinking about buying. and they guy said it runs good and has no problems.

i think that motor would use a little more fuel cause of the displacement. Its it completely stock or does it have more mods? just test drive it and see how it feels.

the f20 b needs 345cc injectors, if that is whats in it and you plug in a p73 it will run fat.
Buy a chipped ECU or try to find a p11 I think that is the stock f20 ecu but good luck.

go there and get a ECU. and get a tune there is no oem ECU that will run the F20B right except for the OEM. The Timeing is so advanced my tuner said the numbers didnt even makes sense but she runs smooth as hell and I even passed emisions with flying colors. just do yourself a favor and don't be cheap. I have a 97 accord recently swapped engine with a f20b sohc vtec. Getting misfire reading car wants to stallout on me when idle. Was told need a p11 ecu does it have to be vtec or not
