Default Some serious advice is needed from ecu/motor experts

What's up everyone!

Im currently having my tranny rebuilt and my car has been sitting in my garage for sometime now and I've been planning to install another ecu in the car. I drive a 95 Civic Coupe with a japanese d15b vtec-e motor in my car and I was wondering what you guys would suggest as the best possible ecu to run for this motor. After my d15b7 went on me I never put in the proper ecu for the d15b because the mechanic wanted a fortune for this ecu, which was not worth the asking price. So I've been driving my car with my old p06 and the vtec obviously wont engage and the car redlines about 4000-4500 rpm's.

So I've been looking and asking around about the best possible ecu to run on that motor and many people have given me different answers. It's hard to come across the ecu for that motor so I've decided to look for another one. I been told to run a p28, obd0 pm7, and also a p30 ecu. So Im totally lost here and I know you guys are very knowledgeable people, so as you see Im asking the question to you guys once again...which is the best ecu I could run on my d15b vtec-e motor?

Thanks as always for the help!

you might be able to run a vx ecu since it is vtec e. I would jsut run your p06, chipped with a vafc to control vtec.

the motor is stock, so I probably wont feel any differences if its chipped or not.

Im still trying to figure out the specs on my motor...I first though it was a USDM d15b motor but I called a japanese used parts dealership and the guy told me that my motor is a japanese d15b vtec-e rated at 130hp. Is this true?
