ecu problems pleases help
hey wats up yall i bought this ecu that soposedly was chipped and i was driving it but it will not go past 6k the ecu is a p72 obd2a and for now im runnning an ls motor is the ecu bad or is it a safety mechanism that i am sopose to use in a v tech motor thanks in advance

i am using this ecu because i want to go ls v , the chip is soposedly a skunk 2 , the tune soposedly an all motor stage 3 and if its in limp mode how do i fix it

id recomend using a stock ecu or a non vtec ecu untill you have a motor that demands such mods. sorry just my 0.02

i'd definitely switch back to a stock ecu. obd2 ecus can't be chipped, so either the ecu you're using isn't obd2 or it's not chipped. once you're ready to tune your motor get a obd1 ecu and socket/chip it.
