Default One more F&%$#!@ Problem.... (let me explain)

so tonight I decide to put my head on my 86mm beast... I had already put the head studs in a week ago, I start off with the stage one 22lb torque then I started to go to stage two 65lb and on the sixth stud it just keeps spinning ( stripped the threads out ) this just pissed me off I've invested about 2300 into this block and problems keep popping up.

I think I am going to call a machine shop and see if they can help but I dont know how they would put new threading in there?!?! Do you guys have any suggestions, this is getting very frustrating!!!!

ahh yes.. I still have a JG pro series d16 block sitting around with that same problem. It seems we can not find anyone locally thats even willing to attempt the fix. Can you give me some contact info for the shop you are using?

RRH, make sure you use a couple layers of copper spray on the headgasket.

Also torque bolts to ATLEAST 75ft-lbs.

Otherwise the 86mm might not seal.
