Default obdII p13 ecu

a 98 accord with 2001 h22, needs the immobilizer removed. After searching all day about this i gave up on that idea. the car motor will remain stock. So the obd2 is the best choice for him. So question is does he need the injectors and resistor pack as others state they need with the obd1? And i think he will need a conversion harness too becasuse he spent a week rewiring the harness to accpet the 2001 ecu to find out that it has the immobilizer. SO the 2001 plugs are in the car now. Does this sound correct?

There is always the option of p28/p72 and hondata but the car will remain stock and that is just a waste. Thanks for your time.

I searched all posts regarding the p13s and got no clear answer in the obd2version of the ecu.

No you dont have to wire any resistor box in because if your using the 2001 h22 with the 2001 h22 injectors you'll be fine. Its saturated so no need for resistor box

If he wants to now convert the car to ODB I a conversion harness is recommended as well as ODB I injectors and resistor box..

I have a ODB I JDM p13 for sale if you are interested.

he could...but it wont work at it's best...2001 are saturated injectors...and they're ~290cc vs 0BD1 injectors are peak/hold 345cc injectors...which is use with OBD1 P13
