OBD2a B18C into 91 CRX
I'm trying to get my rex barred (swapped out oil pump and intake manifold to usdm ones) and had been told that the refs don't like seeing jumpers (for example, OBD2a to OBD0 jumper). So I was thinking of getting a USDM OBD2a engine harness (correct me if I'm wrong but I think the harness is one complete harness that goes straight to the ecu) and use it. I have searched and could not find a definite answer! Will this be possible? Would I only need to provide power to the ecu?

I have a CRX B18C type R and I regret that I used an OBD2a ecu. I will eventually "upgrade" to an OBD1 ecu. Save yourself the hassle and just use OBD1.
I just have a modified crx obd0 harness with a rywire vtec subharness and obd0 to obd2 jumper.

you need the entire car harness because obd2 motors REQUIRE datalink connector ( scantool connector). If its a b18c gsr swap just tell them its a obd1 swap and hide the jumper harness. If its a b18c itr swap your best bet is to put a gsr head on it and bar it as a gsr then put the b16 head back on. they do match the heads with the blocks at the ref
