Default obd2 tach signal?

i converted my obd1 harness to match the obd2 dizzy, but now am lost due to tach signal. anyone know how to correct this problem? tach is on the skiz.

For 99-00 Civic's, the tach signal comes out of the ECU (pin A19) and not the distributor like it did for the 96-98 model years.

so how am i to run a tach on an obd2 engine running obd1 in an obd1 car?

you'll need to run the tach wire from the distributor to the driver's side shock tower plug.

EDITED for correctness: OBD2b distributors still use an ICM that has the tach output lead....just not connected.

the blue wire from the distributor is the tach signal.
depending on which OBD1 harness you have, connect the tach wire to it.

what color matching did you do to wire in the obd2 dist.? help me out been waiting for this for a month and no1 has answered yet.
