obd2b to obd1 tach problems.ive searched
ok so basically
2000 integra
used a jumper harness to a chrome chipped p28
tach works but at 6k it pegs to zero
Ive searched and foudn that obd2 b gets its tach signal from the ecu.
i found it weird that the tach works, but only til a certain rpm.
So I also found that i need to put a wire from the empty spot on the dizzy to the shock tower
however no one specified where on the shock tower.
im assuming its to the blue wire that most people run there aftermarket tachs off of but
I'd rather not hook it up and fry something,so im posting this to get more info.
if you know any please contribute. thanks

I been told you can just use a wire, and plug it to that blue wire with the rubber cap on it, and hook it up to the aftermarket tach, and wire the power and such, then voila. Do the car bog out at 6000k? If so the ignition coil could be on its way out.
