Default OBD1 motor in a OBD2 car which O2 sensor plug?

Hey guys I have a OBD1 B16A2 going into my '00 hatch and was wandering which O2 sensor plug I should use or if makes any difference. I have both plugs on the harness still and just want to get it right

are you converting it to OBD 1 or 2? If you are converting it to OBD 1, use the first plug.
