OBD-II GSR --> 94 VX
Ok I think I have been getting some mis-information. But what would have to be done to the harness for my OBD-II motor swap to go into an OBD-I car.
I thought and read that the harness plug in on the passenger side, and for the ECU I got an OBD-I p72 ECU. Anything Im missing here?
Thanks

Re: OBD-II GSR --> 94 VX (navin)
just plug all together and rewire the knock sensor and the IAB which you have to add this to the plug. That is it. I got a 92 vx with a 98 motor, it works fine.

Re: OBD-II GSR --> 94 VX (Jun)
so basically - all the harness' that come with the motor will plug right into my civic harness (under hood harness)..?
I think I might have mis-understood the guy's question - but just verifying.

Jun is correct. I just did the same swap.
The engine harness of a US model B18 will plug right into your car. If you have a JDM engine, it's another story entirely.
good luck

don't worry about the injectors, just do the wires. that's all you need. let me know if you get codes after you start it up.

Jun: Got a few questions for you: What about the two O2 sensors that the OBD2 wire harness has? And the sensor thats on top of the B18C1 OBD2 intake manifold? Does he need that sensor ?? Thanks

Re: OBD-II GSR --> 94 VX (Katman)
Katman knows lot more than me, just take his advice. I have one plug near the battery that doesn't plug up, i did some search it has 3 wire in that plug, I know two of them for sure, it is the CKF power and ground, (it is not needed for OBDI)Not sure about the RED wire, I looked in the Helm, but can't figure out, I though it was the EVAP. The second O2 doesn't run on the engine harness, when I was running on OBDII ECU, I had to wire it directly to the ECU.
