Default OBD 1 VX, 99' GSR. Is this correct???

I finally found the right car, and I've had the motor.
Fron what I understand, I am going to use the gsr motor harness, just plug it in and add an additional wire for the secondaries... I will use an obd-1 gsr computer and plug the wire from the secondaries into a17 or something, I have the diagram somewhere, how does that sound.....The vx harness is not wired for knock so I should add that toom correct?

yeah, just use the gsr harness and wire the the secondaries to A17, KS to D3 , and Evap purge to A20 and everything else should be wired since its a vx

Not too sure the harness from the GSR will match up since it is from a obd2 car maybe. You can either wire the knock or use a ecu that doesn't look for it.

I have a 92 VX with a 99 GSR motor swap and I did the work myself so I can tell you for a fact that it WILL drop right in. If you use the OBDII engine harness it WILL plug into your factory cabin harness. Get a 94-95 OBDI P72 ECu and it WILL plug into your inside cabin harness. You will need to wire up the knock sensor, sencondary intake air bypass, and the O2 sensor.
