Default Wire harness differences

I need to find out the differences from the 1999 Si wiring harness, and the 97 gs-r harness, because I did a b16a2 swap into my 93 ex, and used the 97 gs-r harness, cuz it fits the plugs on the motor, while fitting the stock chassis plugs on the car....I am starting to think this was a mistake. My idle is over 1300RPM, and i get check engine lights for Intake Air Temperature, and Code 23, knock sensor, but I can figure that one out.... Anyone, have any input if this is possible for this harness and motor to work together, or am I screwed? Let me know

i used a gsr harness in my 92 vx. but then again i have a gsr motor. but i moved a20 to a17. and ran the knock sensor, and I had to mess with the IAB becasue i was using a obd-2 motor and harness, and an obd-1 ecu. so i had to cut the black wire on the IAB and give that a 12V switched sorce. which means you give the black wire on the plug going into the IAB a switched sorce, not the black wire going to a ground. and mostly any yellow/blk wire is a 12v source. I hope this helps. go to http://tech.hybridgarage.com/tech/index.html They have A LOT of help on there for you. like pin locations and such.

Yea, I am using a P30 ecu for the b16a2 motor, and I am curious if the pins are different on the ecu for certain things...what exactly is the IAB...and what does it do? and I probably have that wire on my harness, but I am sure it doesn't serve a purpose cuz its a different motor. Maybe I need it wired, but what could be possible wire mismatches...with the harness and ECU....? There has to be some..

check out that web site. yes, the pins you have will work. the IAB is on gsr motors. its a black box under the intake, it opens the seconrady runners, but don't worry about that. you have a b16a2 motor. if you had a gsr motor in your hatch, I could help, but im not too fimillar with the setup you have. so inother words, do some research and don't listen to me.
